The Gaurdian: Tuition Fee Demonstrations in London

The new controlling government in England has cut education spending among other social services in pursuance of a fiscally conservative agenda. The tuition rates have increased for students, and 50,000 showed up in London to protest. Violence erupted in the protest as 50 people were arrested and the conservative-controlling party’s headquarters were attacked.
